the firm of G.L Watson, which became a legend in naval architecture from the
time when George L. Watson first penned the designs for his triumphant
Americas Cup yachts in the late 19th Century. Throughout the 20th century,
designs for sailing vessels, steam ships and fishing vessels, including the
original "Britannia", came from the offices of G.L. Watson and
