Another versatile work catamaran, the Tough Cat 16 has capability for crew transfer, survey,

offshore windfarm support, pollution control, environmental survey and ecotourism. Equipment

may include 2 drum 5 tonne winch, deck crane, A-frame and moonpool. A spacious deckhouse

provides comfortable accommodation for 12 persons, and two heated cabins are provided below

deck for longer trips.

 

The asymmetric hullform offers a compromise between the stability and deck area of a

catamaran and the comfort and performance of a single-chine monohull. This vessel has been

built and classed to BV Crewboat regulations.
